She Wouldn’t change a Thing

For her babies

she works two jobs

to put food on the table

to keep a roof over their heads.Yet she still stands and keeps fighting.

Giving all of her

testing her strength

exhausted physically

mentally drained…

overworked,underpaid and unaware.

No self preservation,

everyone comes before her.

Night shifts, long walks home…

something she doesn’t need

She ends each day, the same exact way.

Bourbon sweet on her lips

to make the rest of the day fade away.

A moment of desperation

when the tears kiss her cheeks

the taste of salt and sacrifice on her lips.

She has been beaten down

the gamble of life

her choice or not

This is the only life she’s got

Now read this from the bottom to the top and finish with the title~
